humble house went to esplanade for dinner just now... wa parking super ex, $5.50 per entry... ate at humble house... they had really nice chairs! really high back & curvy with tassels, look like something out of series of unfortunate events... but we sat at the normal looking ones coz we were given the table by the window, guess u can't have it all... my family had been oohing & aahing abt the food there... dun really know coz they went without me... at their set meal for 4 pple $200 nett... it was a lot of food! i was literally forcing myself to eat... and i only ate some of the dishes coz i dun eat seafood... dun know how my family could finish everything... i dun really like to eat chinese food, so the food was only average for me... but the dessert, pear ching teng was really good... very tian... didn't really like the cod fish with sauteed egg, coz i felt that the sauce overpowered cod fish taste to make it very ni... the chicken was good but i didn't like the sauce coz it was too gingery... the lotus rice was good! very xiang.... other than that, the service & ambience was very nice...  yup my dad was reading his book throughout dinner... doink! but he ate the most haha...  i'm very proud of this pic! took this outside waterfront corpthorne along the riverside... quite long time ago but just keep forgetting to upload it...
