stop preaching i have been noticing this frequent occurrence of events, especially in hdb flats. there is only one religion in which people go around knocking doors, trying to convert people. they have been doing it since long long time ago, sending missionaries to undeveloped countries, trying to save the natives from themselves and their uncivilised worlds. why can't they just let people be? if i believe in something, it means i put faith in something. you don't have to come around to preach to people how good your religion is or that your god is the only god in the world. it means that you don't hold respect for other religions and that is just plain rude. when you come around hdb flats trying to tell me how almighty your god is and that without him we wouldn't be alive, please remember that i have my own beliefs and they differ from yours. just accept that. don't try to push away the significance of what gods from other religions have achieved and attribute it all to yours. i don't have anything against your religion, but when people do things like this, it just makes me pissed. |
