grannie's birthday today we celebrated my gramma's birthday! i made her a card. took about 30 minutes and 5 construction papers and it's such a pity i didn't take a picture of it. actually, it wasn't all that pretty but i console myself by saying 'it's the thought that counts'.  here's my nephew, baby ayden making a debut on my blog. he's so cute and huge! doesn't look like a 2 month old baby :) love his arms... only babies can get away with fat lumps. also, when you talk to him, he looks at you like he understands what you're saying. smart boy. we had dinner at what was previously known as the singapore badminton hall. it is now recently renovated and houses a food court and a spa.     terrific pork ribs. tender and just with a little tug, the meat separates from the bone. fantastic stuff. here's the birthday girl with my niece, who is trying to steal the limelight.   that little girl should be a model, i keep telling her mum (who was a model herself). my sis can be her manager.  they serve delicious or-nee (yam paste) there! it's a large bowl, didn't expect it to be that big. after such a filling meal, it was good enough for 2 and it cost only $4! last but not least, i mentioned that the building now has a spa. we went up to check gspa out and it's really a place for indulgence. they are currently having an opening promotion and we have decided to have a girls' day out later in the month. will blog about it then.
