guan hoe soon restaurant & sugalight more pictures using my iphone 4s. won't be taking pictures with my samsung camera for the moment. either it's spoilt or the charger is going bonkers, so i just have to depend on my iphone, which isn't much because the battery dies off really quickly and for an 8mp camera, it doesn't take very good pictures. after failed attempts at blogging through the blogger app, i decided to upload pictures using the app and blog from my computer. it was rather troublesome as the draft from my phone didn't show on my computer until i published it by my phone. such a tedious process. anyway here are the pictures taken today! it was a treat by my aunt at this nonya place called guan hoe soon restaurant @ joo chiat.           while the adults are eating, the young ones are amusing themselves with technology.       the food was fine! the dishes that really stood out were the assam fish (extremely fresh) and the kang kong (would have been wonderful if the portion was bigger).    no complains about dessert. presentation was attractive and it hit the perfect spot for sugar level! this is one restaurant where i don't have to ask for extra sugar. after dinner, we walked a few stores down to this cute place called sugalight which sells sugar free ice-cream! interesting huh?         everyone ordered durian and the kids were more interested in the hot air balloons on the ceiling and the behemothic teddy bear. |
