3 months probation my 3 months probation at work is going to be over end of this month. though i've made plenty of new friends, do get along well with rest of my colleagues, i'm not ready to be tied down to doing telemarketing for 2 years. the position i was promised was a marketing manager trainee, but going on 3 months, i'm nothing more than a glorified secretary to the marketing managers. just answering phone calls, making phone calls, sending for emails them, penciling in their schedules etc. my sis did ask me to think on the positive side, that i'm paid $2k plus to do menial labour. but that's not the point. i'm not learning anything useful. besides that, what my marketing managers are doing is not what i would term as marketing. they are more like agents selling properties. so i'll be heading to nie next jan for post-grad programme for a year. will be teaching sec school english and social studies. |
