lakeside hawker centre went to try the reopened, newly renovated lakeside hawker centre tonight and i must say i'm terribly disappointed! the stalls have increased their prices and some of the new stalls are really overcharging. we had fried carrot cake from #01-22. it was $3 and very mushy. the sugarcane drink from #01-20 was $1.50 and had more ice than sugarcane. the pontian wanton mee stall charges $2.70 for what i would be hesitant to pay $2 for. needless to say, i think there are better dinner places in jurong and i do not think i'll go back to this one anytime soon.
