sea salt caramel macaroons one more strike off life's 100 yummy treats under $10... sea salt caramel macaroons from canele.   other than the sea salt one, my sis also bought other flavours like rose, cafe caramel, sesame, bergamot, and yuzu (not so sure if it's this). among all the flavours, my favourites are sea salt caramel, cafe caramel and bergamot. despite or maybe because of the fact that caramel is sweet, it goes wonderfully with the macaroons. the citrus flavour from bergamot, on the other hand, gives this very nice aftertaste that lingers in your mouth. a side note: if you're not a sweet tooth, do not even bother trying. the macaroons are very sweet! for more information on macaroon flavours, visit canele's website.
