sis's 21st birthday party my sis celebrated her 21st birthday yesterday at sizzler, suntec. i felt that their service was only average, which is way below my expectations. we made a reservation for 25 people, instead of giving us a corner, they squeezed us into a long row of tables. since not everyone knew everyone, it was hard for us to make conversation. that aside, get ready to be bombarded by pictures. please be forewarned against my photo capturing skills- they are not good!  this is the birthday girl!  sis and i.  my parents and sis. i was trying to capture the sizzler name in the background.  we were early. see what i mean by the long row of tables? and we were next to the entrance and window. what an awkward location.  sis with her ntu friends- miak and jody.  our lovely grandma.  adri, who just celebrated her birthday with her parents, biaojie fu & biaojie.  haha bobo was late and bomu decided to just go ahead without him.  our cuz, weiliang and wanqi. do you see the arm in the background. ya their mother, meiyi, was trying to get into the shot. did not work though! haha  meiyi with weiliang (i dun know why his expressions are a bit weird in the photos).  yeesiang, our camp friend.  sis's secondary school friends- deborah and christie.  this is one of the few pictures with me in it. i was running around taking pictures the whole afternoon.  from sis's jc- hanh (also our fairfax colleague) and matthew.  another jc-mate, gerard.  the angle from the friends' end.  and from the family end.  parental abuse caught on film!  taking a break from all those people, here's my medium rare sirloin steak. it was not bad, portion a bit small. the only thing i liked about my meal was the free flow soft serve ice cream at the salad bar.  luckily kamyao could make it. omg just realised the twins are missing in action.  e fei, my sis's sushi buddy.  peiyi, who managed to make it in time.  here's the birthday girl with her favourite cake from nydc (big-o cheesecake).   so sorry yeesiang ur eyes are closed!       the family photo! thanks biaojie for volunteering ur temporary service as camera woman.  fake blowing of the cake. my sis just blew the candles without any warning so we asked her to pretend.  sis cutting the cake and posing for photo.  adri looking cute and funky with sunglass. omg i just can't get over how cute she is.  my sis mutilating the cake. that's all! i spent a bundle on my sis this year. hope she appreciates it. anyway, thank you everyone for coming and making the event a success!
