bao luo wan xiang-- definite no!

we decided to try bao luo wan xiang at imm, next to our favourite spagetti too, for some chinese food. they offered lamien and dim sum. i really can't think of anything good about this place. there were so many transgressions that it just became a huge turn off at the end of the meal.

the first big mistake was that the waitress wore gloves to handle food, money and to wipe tables. so one would wonder, what's the point of wearing gloves and how hygenic this place actually is.

next was that they microwave their dim sum and the dim sum became very hard. furthermore, the yam puffs were basically empty inside and the oil they used to fry the puffs was not fresh as the puffs were dark brown instead of golden brown.

my father's seafood lamien which consisted of 2 prawns, a scallop and lots of vegetables.

my braised pork lamien. the sauce was nothing special, tasted like diluted soy sauce. very disappointing.

ok i said i couldn't think of anything good. maybe i was wrong. the only positive point was that the meal was cheap.
