yummy carrot cake   fantastic carrot cake at banquet, jurong point. at first i was attracted by the ban mian which was wholeheartedly endorsed by my colleague. not that i'm saying it's not good. it's delicious. in fact, i've been back for the noodles at least 4 times in the last month. however, what bowled me over was the carrot cake! you can find good black sauce carrot cake almost anywhere (personally, i think it's just the sweet black sauce). good white carrot cake, on the other hand, is hard to find. the carrot cake here is not too salty and the kueh is soft. furthermore, they give you a whole egg with one serving. the best time to have it is in between meals. the queue for the stall is always very long during lunch and dinner. if you have time, try it for brunch or tea so you'll miss the crowd.
