i'm a girl who have stepped into the unknown called work and decided that schooling is better. i also have a propensity to go crazy over fried chicken wings and simply love to squeeze and over-feed my obese hamsters. my blog is a mode for expressing my love for food, movies, travel and shopping!

signatures by lam's

aunt brought us to this restaurant, signatures by lam's, off ubi to celebrate mum's birthday.

there was a whole of foreign workers next to it watching the free match of world cup between india and sri lanka.

my aunt said she often pass by the area and this place used to be a coffee shop, but has recently renovated. apparently, many artistes frequent this place.

ayden was the highlight of our dinner. my aunt played a video on her iphone for him to watch and he kept frowning, so his grandma tried to smooth his wrinkles.

and his reaction was so funny!

stir fry beans with ikan billis. everyone who ate it said it's good (implying that i didn't eat).

claypot tofu.

herbal chicken soup.

$12 patin fish (original price $40).

my aunt can't believe it's so cheap.

fried taro strips and sambal kang kong.

xo fish noodles. yummy. would be better with more chilli.

their famous vegetable juice. i too didn't try this. mum said that they added suan mei fen, some sort of sour powder, which made it unique.

love the pork ribs. two types of cooking style (coffee and strawberry). strawberry was good. sweet and appetising.

claypot chicken, which tasted like frog legs.

fried ice-cream. bearing in mind the menu didn't say anything about the flavour of the ice-cream, it was kind of weird to break the open the bun to find soy bean ice-cream inside.

the food was great there but they didn't have enough service staff to cope and it took very long to get their attention. sometimes, because there isn't enough staff to serve the food, our dishes arrived lukewarm.
