counting ways...  number 1: meet up with relatives usually it's my dad's side in the morning and my mum's side later in the day. today was no different. we picked up my aunt and grandma before visiting my dad's cousin.  number 2: travel around singapore in my dad's car he's really proud that it's shiny because he polished it on chinese new year eve.  number 3: take narcissistic pictures my lovely dress from hollyhoque. mum and uncle thinks it's too dressy for the day, but what do they know? maxi dresses are staples now.  number 4: read magazines love going to my biaoyi's house. she always has the latest magazines and a huge array of them! and i'm not the only one enjoying them!  number 5: play card games aka gambling, essential chinese new year activity. never been to a house which doesn't have people gambling. pg version for kids: monopoly deal.  number 6: entertain young children love my niece and nephew! i haven't really clicked with ayden, but adrienne is such a little darling :)  number 7: eat meals as a family my uncle treated us to buffet dinner at a tung lok restaurant at arena country club.    the food standard has dropped drastically, which is such a pity because one could always expect food at any tung lok restaurant to be fantastic.  their yu sheng was fantastic though! number 8: visit temples to pray for good fortune for the coming year!   what a nice number to end of the post! lucky 8 :) Labels: family, holidays, shopping |
