pretty inn nails

just had my first pedicure at pretty inn nails, hong leong gardens shopping centre! i happened past the shop on the way to dinner and decided to do some research first before trying the place (still having a package with ladyfinger). the place looks nice in picture and their 'about us' was rather persuasive, so i made a booking through their website (under online booking). i would definitely recommend you to call them to make a booking because it took them almost three days to get back to me.

i was wary when i got there today. the place was much smaller than expected (based on the pictures on their website) and i was their only customer. however, the staff was really friendly and they actually talked me through the different pedicures and nail arts. in the end, i decided on classic pedicure ($30) and nail art ($20 for full set).

and here is the final result:

i love my toes! their 2d nail art is nothing to rave about, but the 3d ones are very pretty! they are also currently having a promotion of classic pedicure and manicure at only $38.80 (for after chinese new year use)! from 21/1/11 to 2/2/11 there would be an additional chinese new year surcharge and they would be operating extended hours from 24/1/11.

went for lunch with dad, mum, joyce and mike during the weekend at namaste india, serangoon. honestly, if i had known we were going to eat vegetarian, i would have either persuaded my mum otherwise or given it a miss.

the food was passable, but i left the place feeling famished (yes, defeats the purpose of eating). what do you expect with a carnivore in a vegetarian restaurant?
