dinner at coffee club with family last week while dad was overseas, my mum commandeered the car.it was an eventful ride as we had to detour away from singapore flyer where the ocbc cycling event was going on. we drove to millenia walk for dinner with my grandma, aunt, biaojie, korkor and the two little ones.     weewee was being a bit naughty that day. think she's still not used to sharing attention with her brother. it's going to get worse when we celebrate her brother's first birthday two weeks down the road.  my absolute favourite: iced rambutan, a coffee club signature.  my aunt thinks her passionfruit drink was definitely better.  smoked salmon caeasar salad. i'm addicted to their bowl made of cheese. it's crispy and can't resist chomping it.  chicken lasagna, which was the first dish to arrive! surprising, since it takes rather long to prepare. it was delicious though.  i'm disappointed with how honey chicken turned out. i've had it twice at the imm outlet and it was so good i recommended it to my cuz. however, when we had our dishes, it was inconsistent. my was very wet (as shown in the picture above) and my cuz's one was desert dry. also, there was too much mustard that it became too sour.  mum's seafood pasta. both my aunt and her thought it was too watery. here's a string of photos featuring ayden who was entertaining himself with my aunt's phone:      so cute! too bad i didn't manage to take a picture of him trying to eat the phone. |
