balik kampung & nabins if you have read the previous post, you would see the link of the first surprise to this post! some of us went home after teachers' day celebrations and met again in school to head to our teachers' day themed dinner, which was balik kampung! 
not to be arrogant, but i must say that my department was extremely creative and if there was an award for best dressed table, my table would be it. we went as students, old school style. all the way from the pigtails to long sleeved conservative cut tops to our sarong bottoms. 
ah zu's helium tank from spotlight to carry on our prank on ser aka ah tan for her birthday. we were to pass her three helium balloons each throughout the night until she received the number of her age. 
bee as a rich tai tai. she looked so gorgeous and classy!

after we gathered for the group shot, ah zu and our hod aka da jie sprung another surprise on us! 
our very own department shirt! i'm proud to be part of the lee family (not the one synonymous with singapore)! 
we then changed out of our uniforms and continued our celebration at nabins, just down the road. i've heard great things about it from my colleagues and was looking forward to hanging out there. 
what a wonderful teachers' day i had this year! can't wait for the next one :) |
