protrm, ippudo, horrible bosses & coffee club i decided to pamper myself with a hair dye yesterday with a deal.com.sg voucher at protrim, 313@somerset. it was only $98 for a non-ammonia hair dye, treatment, cut, wash and blow. it also took longer than expected, about 2.5 hours. i cut a side-swept fringe! the service there was good, got the stylist's card. her name's e-van. she blew my hair straight and it looked really nice. too bad, i didn't take any pictures! after that, i rushed off to meet up with siyu and her new bf, andre at ippudo @ mandarin gallery. she recommended the ramen place. it was on the high side, about $17/bowl. there was a very long queue. luckily by the time i got there, they already had a table. the soup was actually salty. i think it was intended to be salty, but i couldn't really take it. needed to drink lots of water after eating it. we tried the pork (in the background) and prawn (in the foreground) buns. they were small and adequate as an appetiser. BUT they cost around $4 each! following dinner was movie, horrible bosses. lenard joined us after dinner. i enjoyed the movie thoroughly. it was hilarious and i don't think i stopped laughing from the beginning until the credits. the roles were well-cast and the characters had very engaging personalities. jennifer aniston was very scary, but i think most single guys would be happy to have her as their boss. i won't mind watching the movie again :) after the movie, we felt a bit peckish, so we dropped by coffee club for some drinks and mud pie. and then it was home sweet home :) |
