pretty inn nails & resorts world

it's a funny thing. after editing my pictures, i realised that my whole day was an accidental combination of blue and orange!

S and i left school early. we took a cab to pretty inn nails for our mani-pedi appointment. i received a coupon in the mail box about a special promotion for either classic opi mani-pedi or gelish mani for only $20! so S and i decided to enjoy the offer.

we took an extremely long time deciding on the colour and nail art because frankly, we were too spoiled for choice. everything looked gorgeous and we have only 1 set of feet and hands.

in the end, S decided to do gelish mani with sparkle tips as well as pedi with nail art. there were so many steps for gelish, no wonder it's so expensive!

she had the most beautiful pink and black french pedi with butterfly wings.

i, on the other hand, decided to go for something more blink and exotic. hence, the stones and jewel tones.

also, i went for nude colour for my finger nails. love the natural tones!

after the nail experience, i went to bakerzin to mark while waiting for my parents to go to resorts world.

while there, i ordered my usual sparkling tea and also tried their new roll. not very satisfied with the roll. there was too much cake, and i didn't find the cream anything new or interesting.

when we finally crossed over to resorts world, we chose palio, an italian restaurant. the bright orange and blue interior was extremely striking.

all of us ordered pasta.

seafood in tomato sauce.

seafood aglio olio, which is not on the menu, but yyuuummmmmyyyyy!!!

ham with tagliatelle, which is this very broad and flat type of pasta. i loved it! the pasta tasted homemade.

and last but not least, the tiramisu is awesome! almost comparable to amici's when it was still fantastic.

then we walked around a little...

and found this cool gelato shop in candilicious, which was having happy hour 1 for 1! so dad and i got two cups of gelato for only $6!

the sugarless chocolate was decadent, lime rather bitter, snickers super sweet.

we wanted to end the day with the crane dance, but sadly it's closed on tuesday!
