turkey day 7: pamukkale-selcuk we checked into the tiniest hotel room ever in hotel bella, selcuk. i've never stayed in such a small room, even in japan or hong kong where hotel rooms are expected to be cramped. there was only a space for a bed and a cupboard. there wasn't even a fridge in the room. but they had the most beautiful towel arrangements and hall decorations. hands down. and also the loveliest rooftop to chill and have a relaxing meal. say hi to the resident storks just 10m away from the rooftop cafe. since we had a free afternoon in selcuk, we decided to hit the town which was just down the slope from our hotel. the huge and cheap pizza. it was about a third of the price of the one we had in istanbul. we also visited the basilica of st john which was just next to our hotel. there were so many ruins and no explanations, so parv and i started making up tales. we also went shopping around the area and visited a mosque. after the long walk and losing our way, we stopped at a roadside cafe for some smoothies. and it was back to the hotel.
