turkey day 6: pamukkale after our overnight bus ride, which was extremely long (11 hours), we finally reached our destination at pamukkale. we just wanted to wash up and get ready for our day tour.  however, sad to say, our room at melrose allgau hotel wasn't ready and we had to wait for about two hours before we got our room. then, we had to miss part of our tour because we just couldn't go on our tour without completing our ablutions.   so we had breakfast while waiting for ride to our tour at the cotton castle.          and an ancient cemetry. it was rather interesting as they had three types of graves there and one kind really resembles the traditional chinese graves, the kind with the big mound of earth on top.                and we had fun wading around the shallow naturally-heated pools.            and back to the hotel it was. |
