turkey day 5: cappadocia-pamukkale the door to our room at kelebek hotel. sigh just thinking of it makes me yearn to go back to cappadocia for just another day.   the outdoor seating area of the hotel restaurant.  and i absolutely adore hanging out at the garden.    after breakfast, we went for our underground city tour of cappadocia.    for someone who does not suffer from claustrophobia and had been to the cu chi tunnels in vietnam, i felt uneasy in the underground tunnels. there were so many dimly lit passages and i would definitely not go down to the tunnels myself without a guide.    we also went on a 3km trek along the river in ihlara valley.                and had lunch, another delicious meal of local fare.                 our last stop was to a kervansaray, which was a place where camel trains stop at night. look at the cavernous shelters.     some chilling before our overnight ride to pamukkale.       too bad the personalised tv does not come with any english channels.
