ys's birthday & wii

celebrated a very premature birthday for ys. his birthday's on 11 september, but by then he would be on the way back to scotland already.

i wore my awesome SLUT (sorority of lowly underpaid teachers) tee out today! extremely loving my surprise from da jie.

and so it was lunch at dozo (again). i simply adore the place. the staff recognised us and gave us a private room even when we did not request for one!

ys wearing his birthday present from us. the tee states "caution, senior moment in progress". we have been giving him weird gifts. i heard his helium potc balloon is still floating some where in his living room.

ym joined us later. it was great to see him after so long. the youngest of us all now all grown up.

lesser pictures of food this time, since i've taken so many before. here are some new things that we have not tried before:

hot lavender tea. the smell was so fragrant! a nice way to cleanse your palate after all the strong tastes.

sushi platter, a chef's selection. i didn't try any, but ys said it was so good he didn't need the soy sauce or wasabi.

after lunch, sis and i headed to far east shopping centre to get our very own wii!

we got it off this website, qisahn, which was selling the console and games cheaper than comex! yes, we actually went to comex and compared the price. we opted for personal collection at their storefront.

it was rather easy setting up the wii, especially for two technophobes. i tried one of the games already and it's giving me a workout. more on that later!
