picture update realised i have some pics in my hp growing old & mouldy waiting to be uploaded on my blog...  this is the super nice cat i used to always see near the hdb flats, but disappeared for a while... it has really nice fur, grey & looks like some ex breed... i managed to catch a very nice angle, but my stupid sis went to use her flash at the same time, so it turned out blue & had to delete it...  sis at yoshinoya... she kept making me take candid shots, but it's not working...  me eating at yoshinoya & my sis took a candid shot... i tot i look ston-y...  haha i tot this is a very funny pic of my sis, reminds me of a sealion...  think she's going under the sea theme this week... she looks like a fish here... and her earrings make her earlobe look very long like buddha, so i called her a buddha fish... sophie scholl had a movie treat from my sis today... watched sophie scholl (about nazi times in germany) coz she has been wanting to watch for very long & no one wants to watch with her... the movie was ok, more like a documentary about her life... rather watch something light & funny though... kept raining today... would be nice if i was at home sleeping, but since i was out, it wasn't that good... my sandals were soaked thru & the legs of my jeans were wet... so sleepy, but today's project runway finale, so i'm staying up to watch... if the weather stays like that i might skip lect tmr... sex on the staircase hahaha... ok this will be long long news if u've read my sis blog... on sunday, my parents, sis, grandma, aunt & i went to the village centre lemongrass for dinner... after the meal, we couldn't find the way down (coz they only had escalator going up), so we wanted to take the back staircase... and my sis pushed open the door & she saw 2 people having sex at the starcase... an indian guy & chinese girl... haha the girl was on top, my sis said she quickly try to pull her skirt down! i didn't see coz my sis quickly pulled the door close... i just kept laughing... then i told her why dun she push the door open again & i'll take a picture... she said dun be stupid... i think if i was the one who opened the door, i'll just keep laughing at the couple... tot it was so hilarious, kept laughing all the way to the car... bought harry met sally vcd on thurs at some vcd clearance thing... have been wanting to watch that movie forever with sleepless in seattle (which i'm still trying to find)... coz they are always mentioned whenever people talk about romance movies... and it's the best romantic comedy i've ever seen... it's as if all the romantic comedies i've watched are trying to build some semblance of it & can never reach that standard... if u haven watch, do watch! it's really that good... ya haven't been blogging coz i had to rush my readings to prepare for tutorials, since 4 of them are on the same alternate week, so was super busy this weekend... next week will be more slack... gonna watch sophie scholl with my sis tmr (her treat)... sigh can't say i'm looking forward to school on thurs & fri (super long days)... so ironic that the slackest days for others are the busiest for me :(... love wrecked haha another outing for the 3 of us- bren, lil & me. had 2 lect with bren this morning... we were basically starving thru the lects, counting every min till end of sch, living on my hello pandas... then we met up with lil for lunch at mayim for wonderful lamien (ooo delicious!), watched love wrecked after that... some brainless funny movie, you can always count on amanda bynes... and jonathan bennett is such a hunk!  bren & me are hungry! we need food... waiting for our last lect to end...  lil amazed at the small teapot-like thing...  a 4 pic shot @ mayim...  lil doing a pedicure after the movie... haha me being paparazzi again...  bren waiting for her manicure... she's bored...  me waiting for them, until i finished my bubble tea... talking about bubble tea, i didn't know there's a sweet talk at westmall...  bren & me doing a kfc commercial... haha no, it was just a coincidence...  haha me stealing bren's watch while she's doing her manicure... yup, i'm going to sleep now... then i have my wharton (homework) waiting for me... dedication to siyu here's a post specially dedicated to siyu (and also specially requested by her, but i shall not say that coz it makes her sound ego haha)... i was asked to put in her unique characteristics that make her her... being an arts student, i've learnt to always substantiate my claims with evidence, so here goes... what makes siyu so unique is that she never fails to show her loser quality... hailed as her royal highness, queen of losers... evidence: today, just sitting at hans for a short span of about 15 mins, to quench our thirst, she did 3 very dumb things... 1) she thinks that if u snore, u have brain damage... haha i still can't get over that... it's so funny... anyway... 2) after being friends for so many years, she didn't know she's the youngest in the clique... she tot angelo's the youngest, when he's 1 yr older than us & he's bdae is in feb (i mean if u're going to compare to hers in aug)... 3) she thinks while bryan's having his house renovated, he left his parrot in the renovating house while his family moved to the new house... she even asked whether his parrot will choke from the dust... ya, please do not assume her loser quality makes her inferior... it actually helps to bond the clique together, coz we're all united in laughing at her! going on to the next point, siyu's also a very forgettable person... evidence: kaiwen forgot her name and today when she called efei, saying she's bryan's new gf, he guessed it was me, then lil (whom he never met before)... and lastly siyu! i'm making siyu sound like someone brainless with mousy hair, who fades into the background and nobody ever notices her... that's not true! so i shall move on to her better qualities... only... i can't think of any! hahaha... i'm kidding! siyu's a really nice girl and if u get to know her, u'll understand... she's friendly and no matter how much we tease her, she's always a good sport. i can't imagine changing her for anything in the world! a big shoutout to tan siyu... happy 20th birthday! p.s. bryan's betting whether she'll loose her loser quality by next yr... haha, i dun think so! @ 19:38
siyu's bdae celebration celebrate siyu's bdae today... a pre-birthday celebration coz her bdae's tmr... since it was not her bdae proper today, it meant that we could still suan her as much as we want... haha we kept laughing at her (ok that sounds very mean, but she's really funny)... anyhow, we still had a very fun time, window shopping & eating...  bryan (who doesn't like to take pic) & siyu eating at macs, coz they were so hungry waiting for lil and couldn't stand it any longer...  me and siyu outside macs...  lil & me at esplanade, haha we didn't include siyu, coz she was being dumb again...  siyu trying to show bryan what a loafer is... but as u can see, her drawing leaves much to be desired...  haha a spastic siyu expression! had a haircut today at heatwave, before meeting the gang... my hair was quite damaged after much dyeing and also coz my hair's very long, my curls are not coming out, so decided to cut it... haha i asked for joanne, not knowing she's the director... anyway, i was really pleased with the service there, people are very friendly... and i also like the fact that they wash the hair before and after the cut, so there wouldn't be any stray cut hair dangling around... furthermore, the price is reasonable... only $35 for director's cut!  before...  after... i know it doesn't look like much difference, but it feels lighter... munchie monkey haha first time me & bren have 2 same lect back to back! met up with yingqi, vic & wenloo this morning at pop culture (the lecturer was anything but popping)... then had a break coz the lecturer didn't have anything to say, went for a salad break & continued with our gender studies lect (the lecturers were funny)... had lunch at munchie monkey (deeeliiciouss!), followed by a long trek in the sweltering heat to the forum (coz the person told me i had to collect my laptop at co-op) & back to yih (coz the person didn't tell me it was the yih co-op)... tot that was done, when they told me i had to go to a separate area (staff club) to check my laptop... waited for 1hr for the service coz there was only 1 hp guy & he was out for lunch! thank god, bren was there to accompany me... thx bren :)...  making funny faces @ munchie monkey... so long since we did a 4 pic shot...  me with my chicken primavera & blackberry soda (double yumyum)... i look damn skinny in this tee, so i'm not going to wear it anymore!  bren taking pic of her pasta (creamy al fungi)... she doesn't eat anything else...  bored to death while waiting for the service guy...  bren waiting with me... haha she was practically falling asleep! just found out i'm in the 1st sc2210 reaction paper group & have to do a short paper about the 1st reading by next fri, when the coursepack is not out yet! gonna be some really last min work... slow beginnings the korean woman's not calling me back about the tuition job... i can see money notes with wings flying away... so much for extra cash this sem... my nm2201 lecturer (just came from south africa, maybe that's why she's doing this) wants us to form groups ourselves & submit to her with our preferred presentation date, b4 we even get our tutorials... since i'm taking this module alone, i dun know how i will fine pple to group with... really worried about tutorial balloting this fri... really can't imagine what will happen if i dun get the choices i want... i rather they bid, at least then, u have some control of the outcome... gonna collect my new laptop tmr... but they dun have the ram i ordered, so i have to collect that another day... oh well, at least i get the laptop first... funny photos this is a long awaited post for me! just receive the photos from lil! that day, lil & siyu came over my house... and guess what? we were goofing around (tied our hair in ponytails & wore ethnic costumes) & took lots of photo... so i'm uploading them... i only chose the funny ones... pls laugh... children cancer foundation yesterday went to volunteer for the children cancer foundation (ccf)... my mum got an email blast for volunteers to count donation money & since i was free i tagged along... my mum got to count money in the aircon room while i was sweating outside at the volunteer recruitment booth for tulip hearts day... met lots of interesting & friendly pple though, like jeremy, kevin, joanna, james, betty, all of them volunteer on a regular basis... anyway there's a lack of volunteers, so pple, if u're free on 3 sept (sun), please try to sign up! there are 2 shifts (9am-2pm & 1pm-6pm) & u have a choice of areas (north, east, west & central)... u'll be selling small silk tulips @ $2 each, i think u'll be given a bouquet of 50 to sell... registration ends 18 aug, further details can be found at www.ccf.org.sg! after volunteering, went to meet sis & dad for dinner @ guess where again? sushi don... have been eating there every week, even the pple know us... went on down to raffles city to treat my family chippy's fried mars bar & cheesy curry chicken (bren, it tastes nicer with cheese)... sigh the fried mars bar is so nice! it's like goreng pisang, but softer & sweeter...  haha my sis has chubby cheeks! even after she suck her cheeks in, it's still obvious!  my mum, ya u can see where my sis got her cheeks from...  dad & me... he looks so lao fu zi like... my super ex-girlfriend accompanied my sis to sgh ent this morning for her appointment... found out there was no hole in her ear drum, doc believes it's more of an irritation that's causing the discharge... so he told her she doesn't have to go back for checkup anymore... watched my super ex-girlfriend... some brainless movie, with the plot of a cartoon... uma thurman was hilarious, really acted like she was neurotic... there was anna faris (acted in hot chick & scary movie), think she's making it big... i can't believe she's 30, tot she's 20 plus, she looks young... after that, we went to ichiban boshi @ esplanade for late lunch... ate the udon sensation... hmmm delicious curry chicken udon! i ordered a red bean spring roll dessert (yummy), was super full... sis sponsored $5, kinda like a half treat haha...  sis with her mouth full of her udon & me with my mouth stuffed with my tuna handroll...  sis looking happy with her udon...  i love my udon too! siyu & lil coming over tmr to tan... haha not much to do at my house... think maybe i'll rent a vcd too... siyu says she has lots to tell us... national day as always, national day is spent at my grandma's house... haha instead of watching the national day performances, i took lots & lots of photos... ya actually my main purpose of going there is for the company & bird's eye view of fireworks... my biaojie was digging out old photo albums & there were lots of photos of my grandma, grandaunts, mum & aunts when they were young... took some of the interesting ones...  grannie & grandpa's (the one who just passed away) wedding photo... ya he was so handsome, too bad none of us took after him... his mother really looked like an angmoh, tried taking her photo with my hp, but camera not good enough...  one of my uncles (not directly related)... isn't he the chubbiest baby u've ever seen?  auntie & uncle wedding photo... wanqi thinks they look like a couple in some romance show...  my biaojie (she's the one digging out the photo album) trying out one of my aunt's dresses...  same cuz, looking spastic haha...  uncle with dou ji yan... i was really laughing my head off coz i really couldn't tell that it was him... really looked very diff (and he looks like a mental patient here)... oooooo main highlight... fireworks! took these pics using my hp... actually i took a lot, but there was so much smoke from the previous displays, so i could only upload the clear ones...      fireworks using weiliang's hp (2.0 megapixel camera, ya u can obviously tell the diff from the quality of the photo & zoom)...    dun u just love national day?
