quarrel guess what the quarrel's on again about visiting... i think my mum's weird... it's like we've been to all our paternal relatives house already & they even cooked meals for us... we're the only ones who didn't invite anyone.... and my mum doesn't want to invite them, even my grandma calls & asks when to come to our house... @ 08:49
in parliament u know i really dislike the in parliament update on tv (fyi, it's after channel 5 news)... it always overshoot the timeslot... i mean it's ok if u want to slot the update in, but at least make sure that everything runs on time as promised... it's not the first time already... and everytime i switch on the tv at 10 & see the woman (i dun know why, it's always a woman) talking in front of a parliament building, i'll just go, "ok i can do something else for another 5 to 10 mins"... so mature part 2 1) my parents were supposed to go visiting at their friend's house & my mum being the childish person that she is, purposely went to nap at the time my parents were supposed to leave & ignores us when we try to wake her up... & my dad doesn't want to speak to her, so i have to pass their messages around... so in the end, my dad had to cancel... 2) my 5pm interviewee cancelled on me... have to call her back at 10 pm... what a recess week, i didn't even get a break at all, with cny & assignments... damn, this is giving me a headache & my parents are definitely not helping! wallet  ok trying to take another artistic shot (ok, i know it failed).... tot the tree was very nice... just like those kind during autumn in the west, when the leaves have all dropped... went vivocity (again) yesterday... had a very rushed lunch with my mum coz we had to catch little children @ 1.25pm & it was the only slot left (the movie's good & PATRICK WILSON IS HOT)... there were lots of people there... really very crowded... the cinema queue was very long, all the way outside the compound & no matter what time u passed by the cinema, it was always so crowded... guess must be malaysians coming in to celebrate the holidays coz sch has started for us singaporeans...  we went to the little french cafe in the corner again... i had tuna tartine & my sis & me shared an opera (the cake above)... it's really good! kind of like tiramisu with a more chocolate twist... yum...  went to my cuz house for dinner... another cny visit... saw this colourful fish... didn't know fresh water fish have so colourful one! anyway we played mahjong & i won... woohoo!  oh ya, siyu this is the wallet i bought... very classy right? took a pic top & bottom for u... but it's a bit hard to close coz it's quite small, but i really love it!  i wanted to get a nintendo ds lite... but it's so ex... $329 with free game... can't imagine all my ang bao money gone just like that, so i made a small splurge on the wallet... oh well, wait until i start working (which is god knows when, since they keep procrastinating)... photos update ok i have been neglecting my blog for a long long time... so i'm just mass uploading the photos from my phone... picture diarrhoea...  this is from bryan's bdae which is like a week ago... bryan's party place... private room at a jap restaurant... real traditional jap style... woohoo haha felt like some vip...  the udon which is very good.... but it does look like a brain here...  haha tau, in case u want ur photo... he's eating the brain from above...  tot this fork is very cute... it does appear to be a limb of an alien...  my mum went to this french cafe @ vivocity, opp carnivore... & the salad looks delicious... the serving's very generous & the bowl's as big as her bag!  paternal side reuinion dinner... how quanju looks with long hair *hair transplant from his sis...  1st day of new year: gold day... dun know why, my sis & me seems to wear the same colours so far...  pig agar agar...  trying to take an artistic pic... some mangosteen tart from phuket that my uncle brought back...  my sis trying to take her artistic picture...  2nd day of new year: black & white day... if u the pic above, my sis is also wearing black & white... & if u see the pic below, my dad is also wearing that colour combi... *my mum doesn't want to take picture...  dad being antisocial... reading his mag at the corner...  rabbit galore! haha so cute... floppy ears! my cuz has 2 of them... this one is limp because the rabbit's mother stepped on him when he was a baby, so think his back limbs are broken... he just drags himself around... quite pitiful but he's so cute!    this is the brother of the limp rabbit... he's the stoning rabbit who just keeps sitting in his toilet (the red bucket)...  ok that's all for now... will update again! ooooo haha u know what i just found out? the aeropostale pullover i bought... it was actually 44.5usd (the price tag's still there)... & i only got it for 10sgd! imagine the manufacturing cost is actually how little & we're paying so much for the brand! bryan's bdae tmr! haha so many people in our clique turning old (oops, sorry bryan, it's "mature" direct quote)... so happy this is slack week plus next week's recess week... sigh but all my exams are after the break, so is it a break afterall? updates friday: went to borders... had an offer if u buy little children book, u'll get 2 free little children movie passes, so me & my sis decided to share... argued with my sis... sometimes she makes me wanna pull my hair out... watched half nelson... i wun say it's a good movie or it has really terrific storyline that makes me wanna watch it again... it's those usual artsy kind of movie... good to watch those kind somehow, rather watching those movies that the hollywood factory churn out every so often... ate yakun eggs... oooo the biggest eggs i've ever eaten! very soft & fluffy too... went to lenard's farewell party... his cuz are so CUTE!!! haha reminds me to tell my biaojie to shen yi ge soon... my eyelinder keeps smudging throughout the day... i dun know why it only happens to me! siyu & lil's always so nice... saturday: and it's a wonder singapore can't make it as a service society... yest had really bad service from the clearing plates woman at a hawker centre... i mean that's like the bottom rung, if u can't even set the foundation right, how are u going to build a building on top of it? shopping haha went cheap shopping yest... got some bargains... got this super nice & comfy aeropostale pullover (i love pullovers & my new balance is getting old) with hoodie... in aqua... tot it would look awful on me coz i'm an autumn, but i look fine... & got a dark golden brown version of my white tee, but in a size too small, coz i forgot what size i wore... so i hope it's ok... & a black gap sleeveless... all for only $20!!! ok the more i think about it, i'm going to upload the pic of the pullover... & i'm going to wear it today! puke i had a funny conversation with lil this morning... it took place over a certain span of time... i felt very nauseous... it was quite weird coz i was just sitting at the table after eating breakfast, just drinking plain water & i felt like puking... it got worse on the way to school, on the bumpy trip on the bus... so i sms lil to tell her & she was like u mite be pregnant... so i said, ya i didn't think of that option... & she said, u must tell ur ang moh bf he's going to be a daddy... ole olay! woohoo! my upstairs neighbours have moved out! yeah! no more banging, aircon dripping & skipping noises... my peace is back... but it's not totally back yet... think the kuel's mating season is here again... every morning at 7.15 sharp (i dun know, but do birds have internal alarm clock? coz it's always consistent at 7.15 am) the stupid birds will start coo-ing! it's worse than an alarm clock, coz the sound will get louder as faster & u can't shut it off! i got a job! no more lazing around in the house... & my dismal bank account will start rising... hopefully by then i'll have enough money to start shopping again... haha was so afraid i wun pass the interview coz i gave many crappy ans but i made it! so did lil & siyu... we're olay girls haha... irritating neighbour argh i can't wait for my upstairs neighbours to move out... they're so loud... they were supposed to move out this week but it's almost the end of the week & i dun think they're moving out any time soon... she was skipping again in the house (which i have no idea how she does it, coz i can't find any place to skip in the house without hitting the light bulbs)... & it's really confusing coz the whole family are small size people (like 1.5+m) & when she skips it's like an elephant jumping... u can feel like the whole four walls plus the ceiling reverberating... like someone has the bass too loud... & it always causes a headache... move out quick! @ 07:42
31/1/07 yesterday was 31/1/07, which signifies: 1) last day of jan 07 2) the day my sis decided she was "da bomb" 3) double your limit at the lib has ended... so sad :( went to waterfront corpthorne for buffet dinner yesterday... ate so full my sis & i had to shit after that... anyway we found this super cute fruit at the dessert counter called paradise pear & it was so teeny & cute!  see it's so small... that's 2 paradise pears on my palm... haha dun know why my palm looks like buddha palm or something...  pear next to grape... the grape is freaking huge... actually i think my sis was more hoping i took her new hairstyle (where the idea "da bomb" came from) than the comparison between the fruits... there's a lounge next to the dining area & usually the singing was melodious, but yesterday.... the woman destroyed the art known as singing... i have no idea how she made it into the music industry, not even mentioning how she got hired... she totally has no rhythm & she not only mutilated the songs (which were all very nice), she chopped them up & threw them down the chut! to end off my post... lil said somthing super funny yesterday night... "send cindy the person your particulars..." she meant cindy the person, not dog or cat... |
