bangkok the trip was disastrous right from the start... 1) our plane was cancelled & we had to take the next flight (3hrs later) & nobody informed us... so we woke up at 5.15am & had to kill time at the airport... 2) we walked 45mins to a train station in bangkok to buy train ticks for the day after & were told that they dun sell advance ticks, so we had to walk all the way back... 3) said train was delayed for 2hrs & later after 3hrs, we missed our stop, so we had to get off the next stop & take a private car back (which is ex)... 4) after reaching the place, we walked in the sweltering heat carrying our backpacks to this guesthouse & were told that they were full, so we had to walk all the way back... 5) we took a cab to town, checked into this really old hotel & guess what? there was one right next door that was newly renovated which costs the same... yes & all these happened within the 1st 2 days!!! there are more but i can't remember... now i'm having this really bad sore throat, which hurts like crazy everytime i swallow... can't really talk... but at least my fever's broken already... will upload photos as soon as i can... bridge yesterday went to siyu's place to hang out... as usual it's a crazy nite among the 3 of us, which was made even crazier with her 2 sisters... we played game of life, siyu won (!?! haha) & i lost (i always lose in board games)... then we played bridge, which is our game of "3 smart & 1 dumb", the dumb person is pretty obvious haha! even lil who was her first time actually playing the game understood so much better! botanic gardens the great excursion of my holiday... going to the national orchid garden to take pictures with my sis... she wanted me to accompany her, even bribed me with a lunch at soup spoon, so i was like "ok what's a few hours of the day with exchange of a good meal?" so off we went... bright & early in the morning...      took some pictures...  saw some orchids...    and more orchids...        and more orchids...                and more orchids...          isn't it worth it? all the nice pictures & stuff... dun even need to spend anything & even get a free meal in return? WRONG!!! UNEXPECTED COSTS: 1) it was really heavily in the morning (aka good time to sleep in), but no... i was up & about... without an umbrella... hence cost no. 1... umbrella $16.50...  2) cost no. 2... orchid garden's not free! admission ticket $1... 3) cost no. 3... blood donation... there were so many mosquitos there i was like a buffet for them... this money can't buy... my blood PRICELESS!!!  even the bag got a mosquito bite... movies update off with the excessive self-loving post! watched transformers today, yee siang's treat, coz i think he was afraid to go out with my sis alone... my sis has a perchant for hairy legs (& he has real hairy legs) & she wanted to watch that movie very badly & he was the only one who was willing to watch with her... so i went along, as bright as a lightbulb... i got so excited during the movie, that i drank so much pepsi i wanted to pee & i got more excited & drank more pepsi & couldn't pee (cos i didn't want to miss any part of the movie)... anyway the movie was real good... much better than i expected (i didn't even wanted to watch the movie, coz i tot the cartoon was much better)... the effects were great, but sometimes it gets quite blur during the fighting scenes, when u couldn't tell which was which (except for optimus prime, bumblebee & megatron)... another movie i watched (last week) was hot fuzz... haha it was very funny! my sis didn't want to watch at first coz she tot it was some action flick, but it was really comedy... in the beginning it was british humour (dry wit), but later in the movie, it just got very lame... kind of reminds me of pink panther style... my sis & i bought advance ticks for harry potter for next next tues at vivo... haha i'm so excited!!!
