2 extremes had sw2104 yesterday... i tot it was an ok paper and everyone will do as well, so it's a b average... received pressie from farah & bren yesterday! haha thanks so much u guys... didn't expect anything since our first paper was yesterday & everyone's busy preparing for it... i really love them!  after the paper, went home then on to hog's breath at holland v for dinner... the food as usual was humongous and tasty... tried the mango margarita but it's not to my liking, my my sis did like it, so (i think there's not enough favouring, my sis thinking there's not enough liquor)... the service was great! had a wonderful 22nd yesterday :) thanks everyone for ur well wishes! p.s. farah & bren we have yet to take a pic together! birthday surprise got a special surprise during midnight yesterday... was studying and my sis came in with a cake & started singing happy birthday!  turns out she & lil have been planning it... both of them went out to get me a hamster wheel for espresso! thanks so much u guys! u're the best :)  me with my cake (aka candle burning off my face) and new wheel... it was pretty dark, considering we didn't on the main light...  then sis & i started gorging on the cake... super yummy! she doesn't want people to see her face... but it kind of looks like she's smelling her armpits haha...  espresso aka fatter baby checking out her new wheels...  she's showing off her moves...  and she's saying 'this is my wheel, nobody can touch it but me!' once bitten... not shy got bitten by fatter mummy yesterday... dun know why she was so freaked out... this morning i put her on top of her cage and she squeaked and jumped off the cage, straight away zooming to the hamster hideaway (which is below the kitchen cabinet)... couldn't even lure her out with sunflower seeds (which is her favourite, actually all food are classified under favourites for her)... my sis had to wave a whole packet of yoghurt drops before she came out... tot there were ants in her tank, but i just changed her bedding and there weren't any, she's sleeping now... so hope she's ok... broke but still living in case u haven heard... my nets got rejected at watsons! omg so embarrassing, but i survived... so the other day, armed with $50, i went back to buy the things i couldn't buy that day...  handsoap... $4.40 for 2! cheap & cute... but silly billy thinks he's cuter...  decided to try organic shampoo... my sis has been reading up on haircare & i'm the only one in the family who doesn't use organic shampoo, so here's my first dip into the pool... and it's an expensive pool at that! cost me $28!!! (yes lil, will try to control but these were what i intended to buy before my promise! and u can see my famed bubble tea in the background)  guess who i bumped into in school that day? wenloo & vic... haha jc & uni friends :) last day at school! fatter mummy here's a post about the prettiest and cutest hamster in the house... fatter mummy aka honey bunny! she's much fatter now (ya i would think it was impossible too if i didn't actually observe that fact)...  one of her famous sleeping positions... curling up over her huge stomach... usually her other sleeping positions are variables of this... like curling up on her side like a soyabean...  her favourite thing in the world to do... perching on her house... and look hopefully at u to take her out... haha i can never resist her... doesn't she have a nice back view? bei ying xa shou... pose spurred by my sis's post on her... http://proseandpictures.blogspot.com/... this is going to be a long one yesterday night we went to joyce & mike's housewarming... their house was really beautiful... penthouse with 2 stories & more than half their top floor was open deck... so it was like having ur own private rooftop... since the pool was also on top, it was also like having their own private pool! the decor was nice too (qi couldn't believe her father could do such work -_-")...with super high ceilings (which is unusual in new blocks) & top to floor curtains, full glass window... wa! they even window seats for every room (I LIKE)... and not surprisingly, there's laughing buddha everywhere haha... joyce & mike prepared korean food (which qi seems to know almost every dish that came out) & cocktails & a surprise dessert!  this is the super chilli paste which i was the only one who think it's hot... my sis practically added it into everything during dinner... it's one key ingredient in the rice dish (sorry i dun know the name & i'm not going to try butcher it)...  the door to the pool & yes it's just next to their room!  a korean pancake made of monk beans... personally i think it's nicer without the sauce coz u can really taste the texture, but my mum practically dunked hers into the soy sauce-sesame oil combi & it was SALTY!!!  nachos (ya just so u know it's not korean haha)... didn't take the pic of the salsa, but it was good...  this is what my father was downing in the whole night...  korean rice roll... joyce said as opposed to japanese sushi, korean ones never contain raw fish...  this is where we had our dinner... it's an alcove & they had this big dining table outside...  i was trying to take pic with flash & as u can see the pic doesn't turn out well... haha maybe it's coz qi's face is in it!  these were the mocktails... strawberry daiquiri & some pineapple-lime concoction which mike doesn't know the name of but it was delicious!  tang hoon... my favourite dish of the night! seriously, i think chinese & korean have lots of similarity, even the language's almost the same...  here's joyce showing us how to mix the rice dish... u'll notice mike doesn't appear in any photos... joyce said he likes taking picture (he's a good photographer) but he doesn't like having his picture taken...  this is my own rice bowl mix haha... which i passed almost all to my mum coz i couldn't take the chilli...  mojitos... pronounced with a h... i was like what's a mohito? then i realised it's spanish not japanese haha!  the new guinness in thailand... hmm or is it indo? can't remember... anyway it's designed for convenience sake, kind of like those coffee cans... instead of 6.8% it has 4.9% alcohol...  the surprise dessert! blackforest cake... with gigantic choc dipped strawberries!  my sis said joyce & mike are polite coz they only use one candle haha...  this is the champagne that i split on my shorts later -_-"...  qi proving that i don't have the biggest mouth in the family... xxxxxx before joyce & mike... went to do project with melissa (read previous post) at cafe cartel... wa singapore want to be wireless society but there's no powepoint anywhere... maybe they should aim to be cable-less as well... so after going almost everywhere, only cartel had...  she had chicken stew which is good for 2... and yummy as well... came with a plate of rice...  i had grilled chicken with pasta... came with bbq sauce... think it taste nicer without... both of us ordered the set, which is an additional $3.90, came with soup & drink...  after that i still wanted more, so i ordered cheesecake haha...  always like cafe cartel's set lunch... it's so cheap & there's variety everyday of the week! xxxxxx on friday night we went to asics warehouse sale at suntec, now everyone in my family has a kayano except me haha... after than we head on down to millenia walk for the wonderful vietnam food & it's still great!   appetiser of deep fried spring roll... i love the chilli!  pho with beef tenderloin, much better than the $6.90 one we had, where the beef had lots of fats... the soup's so rich i finished almost everything...  avocado drink which dad & sis ordered... i prefer jurong east lib one... brand loyalty...  my apple coconut drink... it's so thick! i felt so full after... however, that was still not enough... we went to bakerzin next door for more...  yes much more!  aren't they a sweet couple hahahahah...       yes after dessert, still not enough... give me somemore!  this is what we saw at the carpark... nice car but i wun paint it that colour... xxxxxx had breakfast with lil on fri... she gave me a treat at the cafe at the lib... thanks woman! haha that's like the most time a week i've seen someone in the clique!  went up to the children lib... i've never ventured anywhere other than the first level... isn't the wall cute?  and i found this super cute book with nice graphics.... actually i found another book by him which featured a superhero family & it was just as interesting...  humpty's family performs for a circus...  and just look at the house! |
