part of the family cream puff is officially part of the yeo family. he got his very own food bowl today (will be getting a wheel soon too, when the order comes in).   his is the most expensive so far... $10! but it's the cutest. no picture of cream puff because he just doesn't seem to be photogenic. can't say the same for fatter though.  hmmm new food bowl.  but how come no food? another nice photo of cow! he's so cute and i think he has the weirdest expressions.  eating with stuffed cheeks.  and sleeping after. looks so fat, but he's not :( Labels: hammies Sunday, April 26, 2009 @ 18:07
dozo & marina barrage the day started bright and early.   headed to dozo for an early lunch. our favourite head waiter wasn't here today and the atmosphere feels totally different.   we pretty much stick to the same few dishes as our previous visit. my sis ordered the french onion soup. surprisingly, there wasn't a very strong onion taste. in fact, it was actually quite sweet.  my sis had salmon for her main course. she said it was good and would be better if they didn't give such a difficult part (she had to dig and scrap).  my mum's mushroom in 2 ways. she didn't like the round one because she felt it had more potatoes than mushroom.   my birthday cake. i think i look like i'm praying here.   my yam dessert which didn't taste as good as i remembered.  after lunch, which dad & mum left early. yeesiang picked us up and we headed to marina barrage.     my sis says i jump weird. why are my legs facing inwards?           when we got there it was cloudy. and in the middle, there was a thunderstorm! thank god we brought umbrellas and escaped to marina square where sis treated us to azabu sabo.  what a lovely day :) Labels: birthdays, family, food, friends Saturday, April 25, 2009 @ 09:04
my english class i just wanna send out a big thank you to pgde eng tg01 for planning the surprise yesterday. went out to take a phone call and when i got back to class everything was dark and everyone started singing happy birthday.  my wonderful class. special thanks go out to kanch, bobby and parvin, whom a little birdy (how ironic) told helped organise this. thanks for the cake and the presents! after that, a few of us headed down to wala wala for drinks and finger food.        my birthday drink, with compliments from them (don't worry, i only drank 2). thank for the great day! foodie day had lunch with part of the english gang (the geog part, ss busy doing lesson plan) today. headed to executive cafe, which offered better than average food with lousy service.  the roses.  the thorns.  and the famous abalone which was sliced into 8 parts by pj haha.  during class, ambiga & bobby were hard at work to complete our voicethread minutes before our presentation.  what were kanch & i doing? after class, i went to meet my ex-colleagues chialin, caroline & jackie for dinner at billy bombers.    was really surprised when they presented to me a present! it was also from sky, yupei, linda, chingyeng & eric. thank you guys.  ok then as usual, i'll go on to the food. billy bombers is really a great place to share food. the servings are really huge!  our wings. they went really well with the tangy sauce. there is a choice of sauce (tangy or spicy).  the original ribs. a tad overcooked. cafe cartel's better.  fish and chips. by the time we got to this, we were filled to the brim.  the lovely girls who also treated me to dinner!   it was a really great day! thank you caroline for the charles & keith bag haha!
