high tea @ raffles town club had high tea at raffles town club on sunday. another treat by my other aunt. quite confused about the layout when we got there, had to ask for directions to the lounge.  they set a side a corner of the restaurant for us, which is good because adri could move around freely. also, while the table was low for us, it was just nice for her (when she's standing), so she was really enjoying herself.     the spread was quite oriental. took so many chicken wings because i thought they were rodeo wings and they were actually dark sauce with coriander haha. it was $18/person and the spread was small (japanese section and some chinese style with dessert spread at the side) but the food was above average. besides that, the lounge had a delightful ambience. it was classy and relaxing.  we were all very full and lethargic by the end of the meal. just nice for an afternoon nap! we didn't even have space for dinner that night. |
